Lord of all, we become so focused on ourselves sometimes that we
do not see the beauty and hope in front of us. We all face certain
hardships in our lives, and we don’t always ask for help or
guidance from you, Immanuel, God with us. Help us in our
hardship and selfish ways, O God, as only you can remind us that
we are not alone in our fear or frustration, because you are our
continued help and stronghold. Help us to receive your love and
grace. Amen.
