August 30th—September 1st — “He Has A Plan For Me!” (Jeremiah 29:11)
St. Mark’s will host a Back to School Weekend of events to prepare students and educators for the Journey Ahead. On Friday, August 30 at 6:30, we will host Winning Attitude Game Night. There will be plenty of fun activities and a devotion focused on having a Winning Attitude. On Saturday, August 31, we will host a Back to School Prayer Breakfast at 9:30. The Preacher/Speaker of the hour will be Rev. Bresean Anton Jenkins, Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Washington,DC. The weekend will conclude on Sunday, September 1 with Church Service and a Special Prayer for all Students and Educators. Details are still being solidified and we need plenty of volunteers to make the event a success. If you’d like to help, please plan to attend a meeting next Sunday following church services.
